Wednesday night I went to an awesome potluck, slip-n-slide, and BBQ. It was hot out, and the slide was slippery, and the hamburger bun on my burger? Was homemade. It was absolutely delicious!

So this morning, when my mother announced that we would be having hamburgers tonight, I jumped at the chance to try making some beautiful buns for myself. They weren’t quite as good as hers of course. 😉 But absolutely delicious!
Here are the ingredients:
1 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp honey
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
4 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
2 1/4 tsp yeast
